Christopher Jackson

Senior Architect

Chris Jackson was born in 1966 in London, England and moved to South Africa with his family at the age of 17. Prior to obtaining his degree in Architecture from the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, he was awarded the Top Theory and Design Prize in his final year.

Chris is well-versed on the implementation of sustainable solutions in architecture from his experience at Broadway Malyan Africa, Louis Karol in Johannesburg, and Stauch Vorster in Johannesburg. He has worked on projects ranging in value to US $100 million including the Port Ghalib Resort in Egypt, the Emerald Safari Casino Resort in 2000, the Glynnwood Hospital in 1992, and the Sandton City Refurbishment in 1995. Through these large and complex projects, Chris gained keen insights into the commercial realities of architecture. He joined Alexiou & Associates in 2004 and works well with professional teams and individual clients.
