Jessica Caroline Malms

Junior Architect

Jessica grew up in Switzerland and spent 2 years in the Bahamas before taking off to University in the U.S. Jessica is fluent in spoken and written German, Swiss German and English and also commands an elementary proficiency of French.

Jessica received her Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Architecture and her Masters of Architecture from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Following graduation her main passion within the realm of architecture has been environmentally conscious and sustainable design. Jessica’s interest in sustainability and the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) rating system ultimately led her to attain accreditation as a LEED Green Associate.

Jessica completed an internship with Blaser Architekten in Basel, Switzerland and participated in various smaller free-lance projects before joining the Alexiou & Associates team.

Jessica is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and the Bahamas National Trust (BNT). Her extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Revit, 3d max, ArchiCAD 12 and Photoshop allows her to effectively communicate her designs in a variety of mediums ranging from simple line drawings to complex animations.
