Ronnette Lauryn Creighton

Architect

Ronnette Creighton was born in Nassau, Bahamas in 1990 and studied Architecture at Andrews University in Berrien Springs, MI.  Here she obtained her Masters of Architecture degree.

Before attending this school she sought to broaden her knowledge of the field by working for Caribbean Construction and Management Services as an Assistant Site Supervisor. It was here that foundations were set and interests peaked for responsible, conscious and effective site management and instruction. While at Andrews University she engaged herself in a range of extra-curricular activities including but not limited to being the school’s AIAS (American Institute of Architecture Schools) treasurer for two years where she honed her management and accountability traits all of which have proven to be assets to Alexiou and Associates. When given the opportunity she also participated in an internship focused on Design/Build in South Coast Mississippi. This afforded her the chance to have a realistic view of the trade in all its facets from design to construction.  Her experience and willingness to learn and effectively execute a task and project, coupled with the skill set she gained from Andrews University – one of which is her expertise in Revit which has been extremely valuable. Her design philosophy is one of holism and respect for context. Ronnette is still a member of AIAS and is pursuing both licensure and LEED accreditation.  She joined Alexiou & Associates in 2012 and is one of the project architects for two jobs we are currently administering in Nassau, Bahamas.
