Mission
We thrive at the intersection of the local and the global, the intimate and the monumental. Founded by Michael Alexiou in the late 1970s — in the tradition of Louis Kahn's pedagogy — the practice has spent nearly five decades shaping the Bahamian built environment with a team that brings international experience to a deeply local perspective.
Together we offer integrated architecture, interior design, urban design, planning, branding and visualisation — as a complete service or independently, as each project requires.
Motivation
Each project begins with a simple question: how does life unfold here? The answer shapes everything — the placement of a veranda, the angle of an opening, the weight of a threshold. We are motivated not by the pursuit of form, but by the pursuit of feeling.
Architecture, at its best, is felt before it is understood. Our ambition is to create spaces that belong to their place — that frame the sea, temper the heat, invite the wind — and that remain, long after completion, as though they could not have been otherwise.
